The commercial activity in the parishes of the Valls del Nord, La Massana and Ordino, has a marked focus on sports throughout the year, due to the proximity of the Vallnord-Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís ski stations, as well as Vallnord Bike Park.

La Massana

The parish capital has a varied and dynamic commercial sector, with one particular group of sports establishments standing out, in synergy with the access to the cable car of the Vallnord-Pal Arinsal station.

In the winter, these establishments offer the latest innovations in skiing and snow sports equipment and accessories in all their different forms, both for sale and for hire, as well as products for other snow-related activities.

In the summer, the Vallnord Bike Park La Massana opens and mountain biking takes to the stage, with descent, cross country, four cross and finally trial bike facilities. Not to forget road bikes for fans of cycle touring. You’ll find specialised businesses located in the bike park itself and also around the chair lift in La Massana. Arinsal is also home to several businesses dedicated to sports equipment, particularly in the winter. The commercial offer is complemented by a host of local businesses offering a variety of products.

To round off your stay, La Massana has an attractive and diverse culinary offer, topped off by two annual celebrations of cooking: La Massana Fogons in the autumn and Lo Mandongo in the winter. Among the cultural locations, you can visit the Farga Rossell forge and the Comic museum.

Ordino, Unesco Biosphere Reserve

Ordino has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since October 2020, as it is one of the areas in Andorra which has known how to conserve its natural environment best. Ordino is a great example of perfect integration of both society and nature: despite being divided into 8 different towns, their rural customs and traditions peacefully coexist with the latest technology and equipment, sustainable public transport and premium accommodation and food services.

The local businesses offer everything you need to fully enjoy the area all year round, whether on skis or on a snowboard, hiking, climbing or any of the other mountain activities such as via ferrata climbing routes, etc.

The commercial offer in Ordino is complemented by small local businesses and a rich and varied selection of restaurants.
